Mrs. Miner's Classroom

I love being in Mrs. Miner's fourth grade class these kids are an absolute blast.  Mrs. Miner has been teaching for about 13 years now and she is really fantastic at what she does. I think that my favorite thing about being there is seeing that she uses a few different methods of teaching because it really helps shake things up and helps with the large amount of kids in that class. With a class of just over 30 wild fourth graders its important to help each of them gather and retain all the information she is presenting I think the two main ways she does this is through cognitivism and constructivism.  Depending on what subject is being taught she will switch up the style of her teaching, I've seen some really great examples of cognitivism when she is teaching her science lessons.
